Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ Matthew 25:34-36

Saint John’s is a charity.  We work hard to raise £1000.00 each week to maintain our Christian presence in Brigg.  In addition to these ministry costs, we have to fundraise for the maintenance and upkeep of the buildings.

Yet we know how blessed we are by God and by the local community of Brigg.  We are extremely grateful for the support and good will of so many individuals and groups within our wider community.  As a sign of our gratitude, we seek to share some of our blessings with those who are in need by our charitable work.

Oikos

Oikos-Brigg is a registered charity set up to enable Christians who live in and around Brigg to work together for the benefit of the community as a whole. See community page for further details.

We Work closely with Brigg Business Partnership and our Town Council.

We raise funds for the Children’s Society and for Christian Aid.

We collect food for the local food bank.

Over the course of each year, we are able to help support other charities in their fundraising work by hosting concerts and events, by donating collections at special services and in many other ways.

If you would like to join us in supporting either Saint John’s or the other worthy causes we support, please do get in touch.
